the leading manufacturer of private label wet wipes,
baby wipes, antibacterial moist towelettes, and personal
care products in the United States. The company founded
in 1957,and this plant was established in 1974. Gross
annual sales are $200 million at the Mooresville facility.
Corporate-wide gross sales are $560 million. There
are 450 employees at this site, and 1,800 employees
corporate-wide.
General
scope of work: This position will identify,
manage, and execute the compounding process improvement
opportunities. Specific duties includes: responsibility
for improvement in all aspects of the batching process,
DI water process, fluid mechanics, CIP systems, and
transfer of technology for new products and processes
through commercialization. This will include but will
not be limited to audits and special projects to ensure
compliance, safety, quality, cost reduction, and productivity.
Under manager's direction, the team will lead all
process improvement trials to transfer technology
to new product manufacturing. Will support the validation
process as well as support training activities when
necessary. Will be required to keep all FDA, 3A Dairy,
and USDA standards, policies, and procedures in effect
for cGMP regulated environment. Should be knowledgeable
of OTC and ISO requirements.
Education
requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemical
or Mechanical Engineering.
Skills
required: A minimum of 3 years experience
in engineering, process design/improvement, or plant
engineering experience in consumer packaged goods
manufacturing. Proficient in Microsoft Office including
Power Point, Access, PhotoShop, Auto-Cad and Visio
(testing is required),
