General Scope of Work: Responsible for developing and maintaining safety standards and related certification program documentation and elements for security equipment. Extensive experience with design, engineering and testing of security equipment including: access control, intrusion detection, safes, vaults, ballistic resistance materials, and locks. Demonstrated ability to apply engineering concepts as they apply to security equipment, including application to complex, new or unusual products. Demonstrated ability to present and draft technical papers. Ability to perform as a respected technical resource for peers, management and constituency. Ability to provide technical support and make technical presentations. Working knowledge of industry issues, needs and problems. Ability to establish, track and manage multiple projects while maintaining quality.

Education requirements: Bachelor of Science degree is required. ME or EE preferred.

Skills required: Experience with design, engineering and testing of security equipment including: access control, intrusion detection, safes, vaults, ballistic resistance materials, and locks.
