Company Description: Our Client is a manufacturer of specialty, convenient, snack foods. Their products include shelf stable dips, sauces, salsa con queso, cheese spreads, and other specialty snack cheeses.

General Scope of Work: The Technical Director position is responsible for all facets of quality, micro and food safety, regulatory compliance, and 3rd party audits and accredidations. Directly oversees the lab/QC staff and sanitation staff, as well being responsible for plant wide GMP, HACCP and other food safety or quality training. In addition, this position will spend significant time on product formulation, RD and new product development.

Education requirements: Food Science Degree, 10+ Years QC Experience

Skills required: Significant Product Formulation Experience and RD and New Product Experience. Proven track record writing successful new product formulations. Proven track record taking new product/RD to fully commercialized product.
